On Vacation

I leave in the morning for a long awaited vacation. I am going to Disney World! I am very excited about it. I will have access to email periodically if you need to get in touch.

my new hairdo

I wore my hair short for years in college and since then it has fluctuated from long to kind of long. I have been wanting some sort of drastic change in hairstyles for a while now and I finally have it. I am still getting used to it, it is a messy cut which is a drastic change from my usual sleek straight look. I like it more and more every day, its been three. My stylist Joe is a great guy and he does a wonderful job. I always throw him a challenge and this time he had is work cut out for him, he spent an hour and fifteen minutes on this cut! I didn't do any color this time since I recently had it done and the funds just won't allow it, but we have some cool ideas for color in the fall. These days I really enjoy experimenting with my hair since it's not as light as it was when I was younger.

Scooter Group

My boyfriend and I go to a lot of scooter rallies. There are so many awesome people that are into these vintage bikes, and the new bikes too. People don't really know what to think of us when they see a huge pack of scooters ride by. Check out this article of an interview with my boyfriend written last year before one of our rallies: Heck on Wheels. The picture is by me, although no credit was given online...

I am currently waiting for my scooter a 63 Vespa Allstate to be restored, it will most likely be on the road next spring. Here is a shot from this past weekend.

Belly Portraits for Melissa

When I found out my good friend Melissa was pregnant I knew the best gift I could give her was a photo shoot! So today she came over for her turn in the spotlight. The only spot in my house that had good light was the bathroom...but you would never know that's where we were. After our shoot at the house I wanted to take her to the belmont plateau, you know like in Will Smith's song summer time, the place everyone goes. There is a good view of the city from there and it was a beautiful day. Here are two pictures from the shoot, I sent her home with these. The one of the two of us is taken with my new little point and shoot!

NJ PUG

Thursday night was the monthly PUG (Pictage User Group) meeting. This week was special because David Jay, a cool west coast photographer, came to speak with us. Sofia and I picked him up at the airport and make the trek up to Trenton for the meeting. He is an awesome laid back guy with a great love of the photography and the business. He gave us some good pointers and fantastic conversation.

Getting the hang of things

I haven't told anyone about this blog yet basically since I haven't used it since I started it. But I am going to try and ease myself into using this blog on a more professional basis. I just need to play around with the interface a bit and familiarize myself.
