Baby Miles

I had a great time with Stephanie, Justin and baby Miles today. Everything about this famliy is cute. We tried to put cloth diapers on Miles but none of us could get it right. How did our parents do it? Here are a few of my favorites from the day. You can see more in the slideshow just click the link below.

Lauren and Keith Engagement

Monday night I went out with Lauren and Keith for their engagement shoot. We had a fantastic time walking all over Philly. They had great attitudes and were up for anything. I love when I make such a great connection with a couple.
They are getting married on June 9th at the Morris House in Old City Philadelphia, it is going to be beautiful.

Joy in Action

My friend Laura sot this cool photo of me at a wedding we photographed together a few weeks back. Here is the shot I got. I like getting candid shots with out looking through the viewfinder sometimes. People and kids especially give me a more genuine expression when they are looking at me with out this big contraption (camera) in front of my face. They don't expect me to take their picture at that point either, which is perfect.

Dede & Roosevelt Engagement Shoot

Thursday evening I went out with Dede and Roosevelt to take some engagement shots. Their wedding is on November 18th and I am really excited to go up to the NY Hudson Valley for it.
Dede and Roosevelt met in Haiti a couple of years ago and after much hard work he has moved here and is very excited to begin his new life in the US. We had a lot of fun at the Art Museum! You can view the slideshow here:

Sugar Skulls

The girls from RRSC got together the other night and made sugar skulls.I should say Karith made the skulls and the rest of us decorated them. Decorating sugar skulls is a mexican tradtion celebrating the day of the dead. This is the first holiday activity I have done in a long time. I can't believe it is mid October and Halloween will be here soon. Time flys too fast these days. Here are a couple more pictures from the night. This was my skull. I think I used the most icing. :0)

Philly PUG

Monday night was the launch of our own Philly PUG. A PUG is a pictage user group, Pictage is the online studio I use and it is awesome. I had been making the treck up to Priceton every month to go to the New Jersey PUG, but now it is so much closer.

Sara France, an awesome photographer in California and also a representative of Pictage, was here to help us get going. She was very informative and answered a lot of questions we had about Pictage. She has a great personality and it is no wonder why she is so popular out in Cali.

We are really trying to create a better community between photographers here in Philadelphia. Between the PUG and the Philadelphia Wedding Photographers Group I think some good relationships will be sparked and we can all work together in harmony. Heather Fowler is our PUG leader, I have heard great things about her and it was great to finally meet here. It was also so great to meet so many more Philly photographers I am sorry I can not name them all!

We all went out for a drink at Cuba Libre after the meeting, yummy mojitos! Sara is such a ham!
